Discussion: Introductions

Go to your class FACEBOOK GROUP, find the Introductions post, read your classmates' initial posts. Respond to three classmates, select someone without replies (if possible), and do some of the following:

  1. Ask questions.
  2. Share a relevant story or experience.
  3. Discuss something you have in common.
  4. Explain why you would like to work with this classmate.
  5. Support one of their ideas with a related website or resource.
  6. Suggest a new social media channel to them.

Affirmations such as "nice post," "good introduction," or "I agree" are not adequate for this discussion. Instead, be thorough and thoughtful. Your replies should start a conversation, not end it.
